The person behind the lens.

Hi, I'm Fernanda, but everyone calls me Fer.

I was born in Valparaíso, Chile, and moved to the US six years ago with my husband as newlyweds. We came for just a year... and here we are, with two beautiful babies and a third on the way.

I have a degree in engineering, but life led me to turn my passion for photography into my career.

My photography style is relaxed and natural, not staged. I focus on capturing real moments and the true chemistry of the family, making sure everyone feels comfortable during the session. My goal is to capture the authenticity of your kids… I’m really good with kids and I know how to make them laugh, for sure I will use poop and farts jokes.

I can honestly say this is the best job ever—I get to hold all the babies, smell them (let’s be real... baby smell is the best in the world!), and make everyone laugh. When I leave you and your family, I always feel like I’ve made new friends and created a special bond. I’m sure we’ll bump into each other in Mile Square City—my beautiful HOBOKEN!

I’m originally from Valparaíso, a beautiful city in Chile. My first language is Spanish, but I have no trouble communicating in English... I even crack a few jokes, I’m pretty funny in English too!!

Know me better

I LOVE embroidering things for my kids and my friends' kids. My next project is to learn crochet!

I’m shamelessly obsessed with Coke Zero—my kids even make fun of me for it!

I don’t drink alcohol, and I really dislike when people pressure me to just try a sip.

I shared a room with my sister until I left home. At 27, we were like twins. She even introduced me to her colleague... who is now my husband.

As a true Latin, I LOVE TO DANCE... and my husband is the best partner!

Most of the time, I’m wearing comfy clothes or PJs at home.

My dream was (and still is) to be part of the CIA or FBI.

Your family is just as important to me as mine is…

My kids, my inspiration.
